Our new, branded model is made of chrome finished steel and if you're after a longer lifespan for your purchase the thick steel cord should more than suffice. Our 'easy metal hooks' (product code 20049) will also help extend the life of the cord. The cord is thicker than many other 'heavy duty' steel corded reels on the market.
This product has a one metre reach and is popular in bars and restaurants for use with EPOS Electronic Point of Sale systems to give access to tills or to keep bottle openers handy (we also sell those!). As the reel is practically entirely made out of metal components, it's also favoured in industries where "due dilligence" requires x-ray visible items to be involved in the production line process. Industries such food and pharmaceutical processing / production require metal detectable ID card accessories in order to be visible to conventional production line metal detection systems to combat the possibility of product contamination. |
